Future Fed Rate Increases Mean More Profit for This High Yield Stock

Last week the Federal Reserve Board increased its benchmark Fed Funds rate a quarter percent to 1.25%. This fifth 0.25% increase in two years to bring the rate off zero percent was met with a ho-hum response from stock market investors. Just because the market ignored the rate increase (and that the Fed expects three more bumps in 2018) doesn’t mean that some companies will be hurt by higher rates and some will see bigger profits.
