In June, 2017 – Covanta (NYSE: CVA), world leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions announced a new agreement with the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority (DCSWA) for sustainable waste disposal at the Covanta Delaware Valley Energy-from-Waste facility located in Chester, PA., U.S. The new five-year agreement, which includes extension provisions, continues a 25-year partnership between Covanta and Delaware County.

In November, 2017 – China Everbright International Limited announced that the Group's Hangzhou Waste-to-energy Project in Jiufeng Village of Yuhang District, Hangzhou City of Zhejiang Province, China, has successfully passed the "72+24-hour" trial run and commenced operation, following 18 months of construction
