ACI Worldwide to Highlight Real-Time Payments and Open Banking Capabilities at SIBOS 2018

Business Wire 10-Oct-2018 8:00 AM

ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW), a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, today announced its participation at SIBOS 2018, SWIFT's annual international financial services conference, taking place in Sydney, Australia, October 22 to 25, 2018.

With real-time now a global reality, banks are increasingly looking beyond adoption—at how to create new value-added services enabled by real-time. Within ACI's SIBOS Open Theatre session—Making Possibilities Happen: One Solution for the New Payments World—Craig Ramsey, Head of Real-Time Payments, will introduce a strategic approach to real-time payments that bridges the full breadth of opportunities across the modern, digital landscape. The session, Wednesday, October 24 from 11:30 – 12:00pm in Open Theater One (OT1), will highlight how financial institutions can go beyond compliance and transform their business with real-time payment strategies, optimized for end-to-end customer experience

ACI executives will be available for in-booth demonstrations and discussions of key ACI solutions and capabilities supporting the new real-time and Open Banking ecosystem:

  • UP Real-Time Payments solution offers banks the ability to serve both corporate (RTGS) and retail customers' real-time needs with a single, universal solution. As part of the solution, ACI recently launched a new set of SWIFT gpi capabilities supporting banks to fully enable and derive maximum value from SWIFT's global payments innovation (gpi) service. The solution also features ACI's API Manager Capabilities, designed to help customers develop a strategic approach to the Open Banking payments ecosystem, and to provide tools to meet regulatory requirements including PSD2 and GDPR.
  • UP Payments Risk Management solution delivers enterprise fraud management capabilities, including advanced machine learning, predictive analytics and expertly-defined rules, to help card issuers, merchants, acquirers and financial institutions identify and mitigate financial fraud.
