RAPID CITY, S.D. - Nov. 20, 2018 - Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) today announced that its Wyoming natural gas utility, Black Hills Gas Distribution, LLC, doing business as Black Hills Energy, received approval from the Wyoming Public Service Commission for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct a new $54 million, 35-mile natural gas pipeline to enhance supply reliability and delivery capacity for approximately 57,000 customers in central Wyoming.

"This pipeline continues our long-term efforts to enhance reliability across our natural gas pipeline system," said Linn Evans, president and chief operating officer of Black Hills Corp. "The pipeline improves access to supply by providing a connection to the Powder River Basin and ensures Black Hills can cost-effectively meet our customers' long-term needs in the Riverton and Casper areas of Wyoming."

The new 12-inch steel pipeline will be constructed from an interconnection supply point near Douglas, Wyoming, to existing facilities near Casper, Wyoming. The pipeline, known as the Natural Bridge Pipeline, is planned to be in service in late 2019.
