Genesco's Cold Feet, Warm Shoes Event Fits 400 Students At Nashville's Park Avenue Elementary

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 200 Genesco employee volunteers help fit more nearly 400 students with new shoes and hats as part of the Company's 29th annual Cold Feet, Warm Shoes community event. Company volunteers recently set up a mock shoe store in Nashville's Park Avenue Elementary gym to provide a fun and empowering experience for the children.

In its 29th year, Cold Feet, Warm Shoes is Genesco's signature community outreach program. Genesco volunteers individually measure and fit each child with a pair of new shoes in a mock shoe store set up in the school's gym. They also received a warm hat.
