Boston Private Appoints New Technology Leader

Maura Almy joins firm as Chief Operating and Platform Officer

Boston Private, a leading provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust and private banking services, today announced the appointment of Maura Almy as Chief Operating and Platform Officer. In this role, Ms. Almy will be responsible for developing and implementing operational and technological solutions that meet the complex needs of Boston Private clients and personnel. She will report to Anthony DeChellis, CEO of Boston Private.

Ms. Almy brings more than 35 years of experience spanning retail trading, client relationship management, sales, operations and technology. She joins Boston Private after five years with Santander Bank, where she led operations, IT, project management, vendor management and Salesforce applications for the Investments and Wealth divisions of the bank.

Prior to Santander Bank, Ms. Almy served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse Americas, where she led initiatives across business development, product development and platform management for operations and technology. She was instrumental to the firm's expansion into Chile, as well as in building out technology solutions to meet the needs of the US client marketplace.

Prior to Credit Suisse Americas, Ms. Almy served in roles at Fidelity Investments, Bear Stearns & Co., and Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley, managing technology-driven operations platforms and directing compliance, trading, IT and branch administration.
