Two Mississippi Nonprofits Receive Partnership and Affordable Housing Program Grants

BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE:BXS) and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $225,000 in grants to Restoration Home, Inc. and Corporation for Global Community Development (CGCD), two Mississippi nonprofits.

Restoration Home, Inc. will receive $8,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds. The organization provides transitional housing and services for recovering addicts in Mississippi and surrounding states.

CGCD, which provides affordable housing, education and enrichment opportunities to the community, will receive a $210,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant to rehabilitate 14 senior living rental units at Dorothy L. Biard Hearts of Compassion Independent Living for Seniors facility. CGCD will also receive $7,500 in PGP funds to assist with capacity building.
