The investment objective of the Dimensional US Large Cap Vector ETF (the "US Large Cap Vector ETF" or "Portfolio") is to achieve long-term capital appreciation. To achieve the US Large Cap Vector ETF's investment objective, the Advisor implements an integrated investment approach that combines research, portfolio design, portfolio management, and trading functions. The Portfolio is designed to purchase a broad and diverse group of readily marketable securities within a market capitalization weighted universe of U.S. large cap operating companies listed on securities exchanges in the U.S. that the Advisor determines to have higher profitability and lower relative price as compared to other U.S. large cap companies at the time of purchase and that have been authorized for investment by the Advisor's Investment Committee. The Portfolio may purchase or sell futures contracts and options on futures contracts for U.S. equity securities and indices to increase or decrease equity market exposure based on actual or expected cash inflows to or outflows from the Portfolio. The Portfolio is an actively managed exchange-traded fund and does not seek to replicate the performance of a specific index. |
