Business Wire (Fri, 5-Dec 12:18 PM ET)
Franklin Templeton Limited Duration Income Trust seeks to provide high, current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation to the extent it is possible and consistent with the Fund’s primary objective, through a portfolio consisting primarily of high yield corporate bonds, floating rate corporate loans and mortgage- and other asset-backed securities.
Franklin Duration Income Trust trades on the AMEX stock market under the symbol FTF.
As of January 22, 2026, FTF stock price was flat at $6.28 with 278,316 million shares trading.
FTF has a beta of 0.32, meaning it tends to be less sensitive to market movements. FTF has a correlation of 0.43 to the broad based SPY ETF.
FTF has a market cap of $253.75 million. This is considered a Small Cap stock.
In the last 3 years, FTF traded as high as $6.83 and as low as $5.57.
FTF has underperformed the market in the last year with a return of +5.6%, while SPY returned +15.5%. This shows that you would have done better investing in the overall market (through SPY) over the last year than in FTF shares. However, FTF has outperformed the market in the last 3 month and 2 week periods, returning +4.5% and +1.9%, while SPY returned +2.9% and -0.1%, respectively. This indicates FTF has been having a stronger performance recently.
FTF support price is $6.25 and resistance is $6.31 (based on 1 day standard deviation move). This means that using the most recent 20 day stock volatility and applying a one standard deviation move around the stock's closing price, stastically there is a 67% probability that FTF shares will trade within this expected range on the day.
