The primary objective of the Fund is to provide a high level of income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in a diversified global equity portfolio and employing an option strategy of writing index call options on a portion of its equity portfolio. The Fund also hedges most of its foreign currency exposure to seek to reduce volatility of total returns.
