The iShares MSCI USA Small-Cap Quality Factor ETF (the "Fund") seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI USA Small Cap Sector Neutral Quality Index composed of U.S. small-capitalization stocks exhibiting relatively higher quality characteristics as identified through certain fundamental metrics. The Underlying Index is based on a traditional market capitalization-weighted parent index, the MSCI USA Small Cap Index (the "Parent Index"). The Parent Index includes U.S. small-capitalization stocks. The Underlying Index seeks to measure the performance of securities in the Parent Index that exhibit higher quality characteristics relative to their peers within the corresponding Global Industry Classification Standard ("GICS") sector.
