New solutions for smart cities, private AI, and data pipelines address critical AI challenges including sovereignty, security, data siloes, and fragmented strategies
NVIDIA GTC DC 2025 – HPE (NYSE:HPE), today announced an expanded NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, designed to make AI easier to deploy and scale across governments, regulated industries, and enterprises. The expanded offering helps organizations build secure, private AI infrastructure faster and more efficiently through turnkey AI factory solutions, unified data strategies, and refreshed server platforms featuring the latest NVIDIA AI infrastructure and software.
AI adoption is surging across sectors, but nearly 60 percent of organizations have fragmented AI goals and strategies and just as many lack comprehensive data management for AI, according to the 2025 Architecting an AI Advantage report1. HPE and NVIDIA are working together to tackle these challenges with a comprehensive suite of HPE solutions for AI factories, spanning developers to sovereign AI cloud builders, enabling organizations to develop a holistic AI infrastructure strategy.
"To accelerate widespread AI adoption in enterprises, technology must directly address the core challenges that organizations face around complex deployments and fragmented, highly sensitive data. Together with NVIDIA, we offer a different approach with full-stack, private AI factories that simplify operations and help enterprises and governments scale quickly while staying compliant," said Fidelma Russo, executive vice president and general manager, Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE.
"AI factories are the new infrastructure of the intelligence era — built to generate tokens of intelligence at massive scale," said Justin Boitano, vice president, Enterprise Software at NVIDIA. "NVIDIA and HPE are building these full-stack systems — integrating NVIDIA Blackwell, NVIDIA networking software and AI Data Platform reference designs — to power agentic AI, unlock automation and accelerate digital transformation for every industry."
Secure, Scalable AI Factories for Enterprise and Government
The second generation of HPE Private Cloud AI, co-developed with NVIDIA as part of the NVIDIA AI computing by HPE portfolio, is now available in a small form factor for accelerating AI time-to-value for every enterprise. New capabilities and offerings for the turnkey AI factory include:
With the Town of the Vail as the lighthouse customer, HPE has launched the HPE Agentic Smart City Solution, a unified AI-driven solution that helps cities scale from isolated pilot projects to citywide smart infrastructure using secure, integrated, and scalable agentic AI systems. SHI, NVIDIA and HPE Unleash AI validated partners are working with the Town of Vail, using HPE Private Cloud AI, to accelerate accessibility compliance, permitting and wildfire detection.
Agentic AI Data, Pipelines and Governance
HPE is announcing new capabilities for its unified data layer that enable data governance using agentic AI and unstructured data storage in air-gapped environments. HPE's unified data layer speeds up the AI data lifecycle through a combination of the global namespace with HPE Data Fabric Software and data intelligence with the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000. With the unified data layer deployed through the NVIDIA AI Data Platform—including NVIDIA accelerated computing, networking and AI software—enterprises can feed applications, models, and agents intelligently with AI-ready data.
Comprehensive AI Infrastructure for Any Scale with NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE
To address the challenges of deploying AI at scale, HPE announces new offerings in the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio that scale deployment for developers, enterprises, and sovereign entities.
HPE ProLiant and HPE Cray servers will be time-to-market with the latest NVIDIA offerings, including NVIDIA Rubin CPXs, and NVIDIA Vera Rubin CPX platforms. Future models of HPE servers will offer support for NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNIC and the NVIDIA BlueField-4. NVIDIA BlueField-4 is a DPU for gigascale AI factories, delivering 800 Gb/s throughput, and features multi-tenant networking, AI runtime security, rapid data access, and high-performance inference processing.
