The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing at least 80% of its assets in municipal bonds. The Fund may invest in municipal bonds rated in any rating category or in unrated municipal bonds. Fund management chooses municipal bonds that it believes offer a relatively high potential for total return relative to their total risk. Although the Fund may invest in municipal bonds in any rating category, Fund management presently intends to invest the Fund assets primarily in investment grade municipal bonds. Investment grade bonds are securities which are rated in the four highest rating categories by at least one of the major rating agencies or determined by the management team to be of similar quality. Generally, the higher the rating of a bond, the higher the likelihood that interest and principal payments will be made on time. The Fund may also invest in non-investment grade municipal bonds (commonly called high yield or junk bonds).
