Non-Farm Productivity y/y is a measure of the output per hour of work in the non-farm business sector of the United States economy over a year. It is calculated by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics by dividing the total output of goods and services produced by the total number of hours worked by employees in the non-farm business sector over the year.
