Qualcomm acquires Vietnam-based MovianAI

- Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) announced the acquisition of Vietnam-based MovianAI Artificial Intelligence Application and Research JSC from Vingroup.
- MovianAI was the generative AI division of VinAI Application and Research JSC.
- Qualcomm said it has been working closely with the Vietnamese technology ecosystem for over 20 years.
- VinAI's founder and CEO, Hung Bui, is set to join Qualcomm.
