Investment Objective: iShares MSCI Global Quality Factor ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of large- and mid-capitalization global equities exhibiting relatively higher quality characteristics as identified through certain fundamental metrics. The MSCI ACWI Quality Index (the "Underlying Index"), which is based on a traditional market capitalization weighted parent index, MSCI ACWI Index (the "Parent Index"). The Parent Index includes large- and mid capitalization equity securities in developed and emerging market countries, as defined by MSCI Inc. (the "Index Provider" or "MSCI"). The Underlying Index seeks to capture the performance of quality growth stocks by identifying stocks within the Parent Index that exhibit higher quality growth characteristics of high return on equity, stable year-over-year earnings growth and low financial leverage. The Index Provider calculates the quality score for each security within the Parent Index using three fundamental variables: return on equity, debt to equity and earnings variability.
