The First Trust SMID Growth Strength ETF (the "Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called The SMID Growth Strength Index (the "Index"). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the securities that comprise the Index. Eligible securities are then ranked by their three-year revenue growth and three-year cash flow growth.
