The Index tracks the performance of domestic and foreign, including developing and emerging, small- and mid- capitalization companies that are involved in the gold and silver mining industry ("Junior Gold Miners"). The Index Provider, Market Vector Indexes GmbH, defines Junior Gold Miners as those companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold mining/royalties/streaming and/or silver mining/royalties/streaming, or with mining projects that have the potential to generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold mining and/or silver mining. |
