| Investment Objective: |
VanEck Uranium and Nuclear ETF seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MVIS Global Uranium & Nuclear Energy Index (the "Nuclear Energy Index" or the "Index"). The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Fund's benchmark index. For purposes of this policy, the term "assets" means net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes. The Nuclear Energy Index includes equity securities and depositary receipts issued by companies involved in uranium and nuclear energy. To be initially eligible for the Nuclear Energy Index, companies must (a) generate at least 50% of their revenues from (i) uranium mining; (ii) the construction, engineering and maintenance of nuclear power facilities and nuclear reactors; (iii) the production of electricity from nuclear sources; or (iv) equipment and technology or services to the nuclear power industry or (b) have at least 50% of their mineral resources related to uranium. Such companies may include medium-capitalization companies and foreign issuers. |
