VanEck Oil Services ETF (the "Fund") seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MVIS US Listed Oil Services 25 Index (the "Oil Services Index" or the "Index"). The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Fund's benchmark index. For purposes of this policy, the term "assets" means net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes. The Oil Services Index includes common stocks and depositary receipts of U.S. exchange-listed companies in the oil services segment. Such companies may include small- and medium-capitalization companies and foreign companies that are listed on a U.S. exchange. To be initially eligible for inclusion in the Oil Services Index, companies must generate at least 50% of their revenues from oil services to the upstream oil sector, which includes companies engaged primarily in oil equipment, oil services or oil drilling. Of the largest 50 stocks in the oil services sector by full market capitalization, the top 25 by free-float market capitalization.
