A lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired the securities of TransMedics between February 28, 2023 and January 10, 2025, inclusive, alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 against the Company and certain of its senior officers.

According to the lawsuit, Defendants made misrepresentations concerning TransMedics' engagement in unsafe practices, the hiding of safety issues and a lack of general safety oversight. In addition, the Company is alleged to have used kickbacks, fraudulent overbilling, and coercive tactics to generate business and revenue.
