ProShares MSCI Transformational Changes ETF seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, that track the performance of the MSCI Global Transformational Changes Index. ProShares MSCI Transformational Changes ETF (ANEW) invests in companies which may benefit from transformational changes in how we work, take care of our health, and consume and connect changes accelerated by COVID-19. The index selects U.S., non-U.S., developed, and emerging market companies that provide products or services associated with one or more of four Transformational Changes, as determined by MSCI Inc.

ANEW has underperformed the market in the last year with a return of +24.7%, while SPY returned +24.9%. This shows that you would have done better investing in the overall market (through SPY) over the last year than in ANEW shares. However, ANEW has outperformed the market in the last 3 month and 2 week periods, returning +5.9% and +6.3%, while SPY returned +4.0% and +3.4%, respectively. This indicates ANEW has been having a stronger performance recently.

This means that using the most recent 20 day stock volatility and applying a one standard deviation move around the stock's closing price, stastically there is a 67% probability that ANEW shares will trade within this expected range on the day.
