The Fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund ("ETF"). The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal conditions, substantially all of its assets in a combination of exchange-traded options contracts on an underlying ETF ("Underlying ETF"). The Underlying ETF is an ETF that seeks to track the investment results of the S&P 500 Index (the "Underlying ETF's Index"), which measures the performance of the large capitalization sector of the U.S. equity market, as determined by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC. The Fund uses an options strategy that seeks to produce investment outcomes based on the performance of the Underlying ETF, subject to an approximate upside limit typically between 4% and 5% ("Hedge Period Cap"), while also seeking to provide protection against Underlying ETF share price declines of up to a 10% limit ("Hedge Period Buffer"), over a designated period (typically 90 days, but may be up to 120 days, after portfolio rebalance) (each, a "Hedge Period").
Ab Moderate Buffer ETF trades on the NASDAQ stock market under the symbol BUFM.
As of April 15, 2026, BUFM stock price climbed to $39.27 with 17,644 million shares trading.
BUFM has a beta of 0.47, meaning it tends to be less sensitive to market movements. BUFM has a correlation of 0.92 to the broad based SPY ETF.
BUFM has a market cap of $389.76 million. This is considered a Small Cap stock.
BUFM has underperformed the market in the last year with a price return of +15.3% while the SPY ETF gained +31.2%. BUFM has also underperformed the stock market ETF in the last 3 month and 2 week periods returning -0.1% and +2.8%, respectively, while the SPY returned +1.6% and +7.6%, respectively.
BUFM support price is $39.02 and resistance is $39.42 (based on 1 day standard deviation move). This means that using the most recent 20 day stock volatility and applying a one standard deviation move around the stock's closing price, stastically there is a 67% probability that BUFM shares will trade within this expected range on the day.
